High Mesa Consulting Group has conducted a Boundary Survey of fee lands owned by the Pueblo of Sandia. These lands are located along the southerly Grant Line of the Pueblo adjacent to the City of Albuquerque Balloon Fields. The purpose of the survey was to retrace the boundaries of numerous properties acquired by the pueblo over several decades within the project limits. These lands will be incorporated into trust lands through the US Department of the Interior process. This project involved the retracement of a portion of the Grant Boundary established by the Bureau of Land Management and General Land Office. Additionally surveys of private subdivided parcels and bounded by local governmental entities were reconciled in order to consolidate the numerous tracts of land into a single tract. The total area to be incorporated into the Pueblo lands is approximately 100 acres.
