APS Regional Soccer Complex at Northwest Education Corridor
APS SOCCER COMPLEX OPENS!
The Albuquerque Public Schools New Soccer Complex was completed in time to host the NMAA 2009 State Soccer Tournament. The new facility, complete with four competition fields, are constructed of synthetic turf with a complex subsurface drainage system all within National High School Federation guidelines. In addition, the new athletic facility includes a
ConcessionBuilding,
RestroomBuilding, a Storage and
MaintenanceBuilding, and ample outdoor areas for athletes, spectators and fans.
The facility lies between the new Tierra Antigua Elementary School and the new Tony Hillerman Middle School. This siting allows each of the sites to share public and private infrastructure. Throughout the duration of this multi-dimensional project situated on a 64 acre site, High Mesa Consulting Group provided initial site feasibility reports; initial site surveys and platting; the preparation of construction plans for Mass Grading, surrounding and supporting Infrastructure, and the new Soccer Complex itself; Construction Observation and Administration; and Construction Staking services.
